How Syncorp Came To Be

Our Story

2009

Started with a silly idea

The idea was loosely thrown out when the CEO, Aubrey, was pregnant at the time and was packing to leave her hometown to work in one of the big call centers in Davao. Her boyfriend at that time (who is her husband now) suggested for her to not leave and build a call center in General Santos City instead. It sounded radical at that time and she looked at him like he was nuts! 

2011

Career leap

From the world of Business Process Outsourcing, Aubrey started a career as a Virtual Assistant. She got promoted multiple times and noticed a pattern. Whenever a colleague leaves, she would then be offered a job by the new company that the former transferred to. Aubrey realized that there was a huge demand for virtual staff. That was her light bulb moment. 

2013

Became a Recognized Company

This was the year SynCorp was born. It started from a spare room in a rented apartment with 2 people offering customer service, admin support, and data entry.

2015

Expanded our brand

The list of services grew. Social media management, e-commerce support, telemarketing, accounting, and bookkeeping.

2017

Established our team

The staff grew to 35. A piece of real-estate was purchased, designated to be the future headquarters of the company.

2020

Pulling through the pandemic

The COVID pandemic hit. Despite the circumstances, SynCorp remained strong with 50 virtual staff. By September, the construction of the 4,402 square foot headquarter began with plans holding 3 production rooms, a training room; HR office, Finance, and IT room; an indoor gym, lounge, and an employee nook, indeed a great workspace for the staff of our global office. 

2021
